GDP at current prices reached 104598.1 million GEL in 2025, up 11575.8 million from 93022.3 million in 2024. Measured at constant prices, output rose from 67660.0 million to 72708.5 million GEL — an increase of 5048.5 million. Real GDP growth, annual came to 7.5%, while the GDP deflator, annual stood at 4.6%. All 2025 figures are provisional and are subject to revision by Geostat.
The two components together give the shape of the nominal aggregate: real growth of 7.5% plus a deflator of 4.6% sum to 12.1%, close to the pace at which GDP at current prices expanded. A little over a third of the nominal increase is therefore price change rather than additional volume — a distinction that matters for anyone reading revenue or budget lines that are recorded in current prices.
The three years supplied show the mix shifting. Real growth was 7.8% in 2023, 9.7% in 2024 and 7.5% in 2025, so last year's rate was 2.2 percentage points below the 2024 outturn. The deflator moved the other way over the same span, from 2.9% in 2023 to 4.9% in 2024, before easing by 0.3 percentage points to 4.6% in 2025. In other words, the price component of nominal growth is now roughly twice what it was in 2023, while the volume component has returned to its 2023 neighbourhood.
For planning purposes, the practical implication is that nominal aggregates for 2025 overstate volume growth by close to five percentage points, and that the provisional status of the figures leaves room for both components to move when Geostat revises them.
