The lari firmed against every rate published between 3 and 12 September except the Russian rouble. The US dollar eased to 2.6095 lari on 12 September from 2.6205 on 3 September, a fall of 0.0110, and the euro to 3.0247 from 3.0314, after reaching 3.0374 on 8 September.
The rouble ran the other way. 100 roubles cost 3.0923 lari on 12 September against 3.0184 on 3 September, a rise of 0.0739, with a high of 3.1036 on 11 September. It was both the largest and the least steady move in the window, while the dollar drifted down session by session.
Regional rates barely shifted: 1000 Armenian dram slipped to 7.1768 lari from 7.1905, the Azerbaijani manat to 1.5353 from 1.5416, and the Turkish lira to 0.0537 from 0.0543. Published sources offer no Georgia-specific driver for these moves; the Federal Reserve's rate decision on 16 September falls after this window.
