The Russian rouble weakened against the lari in both moves recorded in the window shown: 100 roubles were worth 3.1687 GEL on 11 August, against 3.2024 GEL on 8 August and 3.2281 GEL on 7 August, a cumulative decline of 0.0594 lari. The Armenian dram followed a different path — flat between 7 August (1000 drams = 7.1610 GEL) and 8 August (7.1612 GEL), then down to 7.1287 GEL on 11 August.
The rest of the board moved little. The US dollar eased in each step, to 2.6198 GEL from 2.6210 GEL on 8 August and 2.6223 GEL on 7 August. The euro firmed to 3.0274 GEL from 3.0212 GEL, the Azerbaijani manat slipped to 1.5411 GEL from 1.5420 GEL, and the Turkish lira was unchanged at 0.0549 GEL.
For households and businesses receiving transfers in roubles or drams, a given amount converts into fewer lari than on 7 August. Importers settling in dollars see almost no change; those paying in euro face marginally higher lari costs than on 8 August.
